Dolores M. Heath, 84, of Sylvania, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her family. Dolores was born to Jerry and Minnie (Yonkers) Bos on March 29, 1931, in Kalamazoo, MI. She was married to Earl Heath on June 23, 1956, and together they raised three children.

Dolores received her undergraduate degree from Bronson School of Nursing, BS of Nursing at Western Michigan, her master's degree of Nursing from Wayne State and a master's degree and specialist degree from the University of Toledo. She was a med-surgical nurse and then a guidance counselor for many years at St. Vincent Medical Center. She was employed by Owens Community College for 10 years as the Director of Health, continuing education, retiring in 1996. She was a longtime member of King of Glory Lutheran Church. Dolores was involved in many organizations including Gideons International, Lucas County Retired Teachers Association, NWO Gerontological Association, Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honorary Society and T.O.P.S. She was a dedicated volunteer at Flower Hospital and participated in the Flower Hospital Guild.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Earl; her daughter, Mary (Jon) Andre; sons, Paul (Mary) and David (Jacki), and grandchildren, Daniel, Laura and Matthew Andre, and sister, Corabelle Pinkster. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Harriett Hodson.

Visitation will be held at Reeb Funeral Home, 5712 Main St., Sylvania on Sunday, October 25, 2015, from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church on Monday at 11 a.m., with an hour visitation prior to the service. Interment to follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
