Donald W.
Donald W. Bialecki, 89, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Ebeid Hospice
surrounded by his family. He was born January 6, 1924, to Francis and Mary Bialecki in Toledo. Donald was a member of the 1941 graduating class of Woodward High School. He honorably served his country in the Army during World War II. Don married, Genevieve Lawecki, January 3, 1948; she preceded him in death September 15, 2005. He worked at LOF in Rossford for 36 years. He was a member of the VFW, Catholic War Veterans, Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Don is survived by his sons, Thomas (Kathy) and James (Debra) Bialecki; grandchildren, Heather (David) Durham, Brook (Scott) Lewandowski, Josh Bialecki; great-grandchildren, Braden, Ethan, Emersyn, Brody, and brother, Lawrence (Susan) Bialecki. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Joseph Bialecki; brother, Frank Bialecki, and sisters, Beatrice Hartman and Charlotte Sicklebaugh.
Friends are invited to visit from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ansberg-West Funeral Home 3000 Sylvania Avenue. Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at St.
Clement Church with
interment in Resurrection
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice or the Toledo Humane Society. Online condolences may be left at
