Donald Putinta Obituary
Donald G. Putinta, 80, of Lambertville, MI, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home. He was born June 27, 1940 in Toledo, OH to George and Evelyn (Moore) Putinta. He married his high school sweetheart, Evelyn Burno, in 1960.
Donald was a 1958 graduate of Bedford High School. He pursued a career in manufacturing until 1969 when he co-founded Met-L-Tec, and he was a prominent businessman in the community until 2010 when he retired. He had many hobbies and was an avid collector but most of all, he was a devoted husband and a dedicated caretaker of his wife until her passing in 2018.
Donald is survived by his sons, James (Robin) and Michael (Autha); 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Michael) Long and Sally (Thomas) Schafer. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Evelyn; daughter, Lori; and brother, James.
Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Reeb Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when the funeral service will begin. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift may be considered to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Donald's name. On-line condolances may be left at
