Doris Griner Obituary
Doris J. Griner, age 88, of Maumee, passed away July 26, 2022 at Elizabeth Scott Community. She was born November 30, 1933 in Toledo to Edison Hayes and Alice (Sanders) Brown. She was employed with the Kroger for more than 20 years retiring in 1989. Doris enjoyed camping, but the most important part of her life was her husband, Charlie.
In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Griner. She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Kreps, Connie (Walter) Walenczak, Jackie (Andrew) Perrault and Sherry (Leslie) Browning; grandchildren, Charlie (Karey), Kelly (Gregory Feeney), Chris (Kacie), Curt, Zachary (Sarah), Jennifer (Russell), Sheila, Samuel (Avery) and Jessica; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandsons.
The family will receive guests Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Memorial Services will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Doris' memory.
