Garry Campbell Obituary
03/18/1959 - 05/27/2024
Garry A. Campbell, resident of Toledo, OH, passed away on May 27, 2024, at age 65. Son of the late Howard and Orpha (Lee) Campbell; dear husand of nearly 42 years to Marian "Sue" Campbell; adored father of Sarah (Jacob) Lyons, Dylan Campbell and Caleb Campbell; treasured "Papa" of Case and Dakota; brother of Sandra (the late Raymond) Hamilton, Howard "Bud" (the late Debbie) Campbell, and Virginia Mealer. Garry also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Garry was a 1978 Whitmer High School graduate. He was an avid Ohio State football, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Browns fan. Garry was a member of the UAW, working for Jeep for 30 years. In his younger years, Garry enjoyed playing music, whether it was the guitar, bass, or drums. He always enjoyed his time spent with his grandchildren and spoiling his dogs with treats.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel at 4150 West Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.
A funeral will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel at 4150 West Laskey Road Toledo, OH 43623.
Garry will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
