Gary Denman Obituary

Gary Barton Denman, 67, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1953, to William Arthur Denman Jr. and Cleola Jean (Barton) Denman.
Gary graduated from DeVilbiss High School, and went on to work for Conrail Railway, Thomas C. Sattler Painting, and then owned his own business, Capstone Painting.
Gary was a very loving person; he had many friends throughout his life. He had a love for the Lord and it showed in everything he did. He attended Literal Life Church, where he loved his brothers and sisters. Gary's humor, kindness, and love will be greatly missed by all. He was a fighter all the way to the end; he had been through so much, he never wavered from his faith. He said "God will heal me". Now he is with God in Heaven; He said "Victory is mine".
Gary is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Kathy Denman; and his faithful dog, Buddy.
Surviving are his brothers, Michael and David Denman; sister, Cheryl Garcia; nephews and nieces, Damian (Maral) Ayala, Amy (David) Yoder, Angelica (Joseph Vogelpohl) Garcia, Timothy (Tiffany) Denman; great-niece, Julia Jordan; great-nephews, Gabriel, Ari, Isaac, Ayala, Owen and Myles Denman, and one on the way.
The family would like to thank Gary's church family at Literal Life Church, and nurses of Elara Caring Hospice.
A Celebration of Gary's life will take place at a later date. The family asks that any memorial contributions to be made to Literal Life Church, 11100 Summerfield Road, Petersburg, Michigan 49270 or Elara Caring Hospice, 3425 Executive Parkway Unit 206, Toledo, Ohio 43606.
