Gertrude “Trudy”
Trudy Lehsten, age 70, of Bryan passed away on November 14, 2016 at Bryan Hospital. She was born in Toledo on May 28, 1946. Trudy loved camping, especially in Morenci, Michigan. She also liked cross stitching, word searches and being around the campfire. Trudy lived in Florida during the winter months where she loved listening to music while on the beach for sunsets. She thoroughly enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, but most all she will be missed for her laughter.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kevin (Kathy) Lehsten, Keith (Kim) Lehsten; grandchildren, Kayla, Kenzie, Alex and Emily Lehsten; siblings, Hank (Debbie) Furll and Fred (Deb) Furll. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Herman, and husband, James Lehsten.
The family will receive guests at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania.
Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a charity of the donors choice.

I knew Jim Lehsten since grade school at St. Clements and Trudy at Whitmer High School. Condolences to her family and friends. I will remember her as very outgoing and friendly person. Stay strong.

Trudi had many friends at Whitmer High School. She had a wonderful personality and pleasant disposition.
She was an asset to her Company in the field of business. Trudi was fair, understanding and very helpful to her customers.
