Herman "Herm" Francis Trabbic

Herm, after a short illness, died in Lakewood, CO on February 7, 2022 at the age of 81. Herm attended Central Catholic High School, Class of 1959. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy for two years and completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1963. He began working at the National Security Agency, Ft. Meade, MD.

Herm worked in Information Technology, Human Resources and Administration, and as an independent consultant specializing in Leadership Development and Organizational Development, and last as a hospital staff chaplain. After living in Howard County, Maryland for 50+ years, Herm and Pat, his wife of 57 years, moved to the Maravilla Senior Living Community in Santa Barbara in 2014 to be close to their daughter, Kirsten. There Herm volunteered with the Alliance for Living and Dying Well. He became certified as an Advanced Care Planner and conducted workshops. Five years later, they followed Kirsten to the Denver area to remain close and have been enjoying retirement.

In addition to his wife, Patricia; he is survived by his daughters, Kirsten Olson (Dustin), Lakewood, CO and Jennifer Haile (Wonwossen), Milan Italy. He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Hicks (Bob), Winter Park, FL and Shirley Miller (Hal), Richmond, VA and brother-in-law, John Wozny (Mary Ellen), Coolville, OH.
