Jack N. Rippke

RIPPKE Jack N. Jack N. Rippke, age 80, of Woodville, OH passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008, at Perrysburg Care and Rehab, Perrysburg, OH. He was born on January 25, 1928, to Carl and Beatrice (Nelson) Rippke in Toledo, OH. Jack married Norma Jean Gamby on December 17, 1948, in Bowling Green, OH and she preceded him in death on December 3, 2008. He retired as an electrician from Brush Wellman Elmore, OH and had later worked for Colegan Electric of Toledo, OH. Jack was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church and the Oak Harbor Country Club. In his spare time he enjoyed golf, working with wood and round and square dancing. Jack is survived by his sons, Jack Rippke Jr. of Woodville, OH, Joe (Sara) Rippke of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Jill Allen of Lebanon Junction, KY; 6 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Norma Jean. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday December 23, 2008, from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 West Main Street, Woodville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 24, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. from Woodville United Methodist Church Woodville, OH where there will be additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Judith Frank. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery Woodville, OH.
