James Dudek Obituary
James D. Dudek, 62 of Crestview, FL was called home to his Lord on Monday, May 13, 2024, passing away peacefully at the North Okaloosa Medical Center after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. The son of Daniel and Phyllis (Kempski) Dudek, he was born November 1, 1961 in Toledo, OH.
Jim grew up in the Point Place Community, and was a 1980 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Air Force, where he earned the rank of Major, before retiring in 2020.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis; siblings, Audrey (Gary) Schnabel, Jeff (Deb) Dudek, Sue Dudek; nieces and nephews, Andrew and Megan Greenley, Nick (Amy) Dudek, Katelyn Dudek, and Griffin Burkhardt. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Toledo Memorial Park Veterans Tower, 6382 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH with a Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m. with military honors conducted by the Lambertville VFW Post 9656. Memorial donations may be made to an Animal Rescue Society of your choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Urbanski's Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI.
