James PATNODE Obituary

PATNODE James F. "Jim" James F. "Jim" Patnode, age 78, of Waterville, OH, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born in Superior, Wisconsin, on November 22, 1931, to George and Bertha (Archambeau) Patnode. Jim was employed as a Marine Engineer for Ogleby Norton and Company for 30 years and Nalco for 10 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Maumee. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary E. Patnode; daughters, Nancy (John) Temme, Christine (Mark) Conley; sons, Dennis (Holly) Patnode, Steven Patnode, William (Leah) Patnode; grandchildren, Jim, Stacy, Sara, Andrew, Aaron, Alex, Anna and Mary; great-grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa and Gabriel. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Patnode and many brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation and services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, St. Joseph's Church, Maumee or Guide Dogs of America. I am very sorry to read that Jim passed. Chief Patnode was the GREATEST boss I ever had the pleasure to work for. He left me with a lot of great memories. I was very lucky that I ever had the pleasure to know him and all of his family. All of you are in my prayers.
