Janet M. Buschmann

Janet M. Buschmann, 98, of east Toledo, passed away peacefully at Majestic Health Care on Friday, October 11, 2024. "Aunt Net", "Aunt Jan" to many was born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 29, 1926, to August and Grace (Weidner) Zunk. Jan enjoyed bowling over twenty-five years on different leagues and lanes. Jan also enjoyed cross stitching, decorating, and volunteering. She was caregiver for her sister, Marilyn, for many years. She attended Raymer Elementary and Waite High School. Jan worked at Rowe Industries, Owens Illinois, Star Jewelers and the Board of Elections. Jan was a lifetime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Zunk, Judy (Jim) Crawford; many nieces and nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; siblings, Lyle, Leland, Dale, Merlin "Pete" Zunk, Geraldine Przyojski, Donna Siebenaler, Gloria Soncrant.

To honors Jan's wishes there will be no services. Private interment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 611 Woodville Road, Toledo, Ohio 43605.
