In Loving Memory of Heinz D. Buschmann
Heinz D. Buschmann, a devoted resident of Orion, Michigan for the past 40 years, passed away on April 8, 2025, at the Lake Orion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on August 18, 1952, in Meinersen, Germany.
Heinz dedicated 45 years of his life to the manufacturing industry, working as both a plant manager and a skilled boring mill operator. He was the steadfast head of his family-a quiet leader whose strength showed through his actions more than words. He found joy in the simple things: tending to his garden, being surrounded by nature, and cheering for his favorite sports teams. But above all, Heinz cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren. His love, guidance, and example shaped their values and taught them the meaning of integrity, kindness, and hard work.
Heinz is survived by his sons, Greg (Heather) Buschmann and Joe (Amy) Buschmann; by his beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Autumn, and Summer Buschmann, and his brother Berry. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank (1978), his cherished wife Wynema (2012), his mother Olga (2014), and his father Gregor (2016).
In keeping with Heinz's humble nature, a private service and burial will be held for immediate family only. As we mourn his passing, we also take comfort in the hope of eternal life, trusting that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.
As it is written in 2 Timothy 4:7:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Heinz has indeed finished his race-and now rests in the arms of his Savior.
