Jeff was such a great teammate and friend growing up. He was one of the hardest working and most fun hockey players I ever had the pleasure of playing with. His athletic ability is only a shadow of his personality and his loyalty to his friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and the Hoag family.

LeAnn: I speak for myself and my sons that there are no words to express our shock on learning of Jeffie.You and I were just talking about "the boys" a few weeks ago at OLL Toledo's church festival. I can still see Jeffie playing Little Flower football with Andrew. They were the two biggest boys out there. He is forever in our hearts. Know that God's arms are around you and yours at this time of great loss. Take care of yourselves and each other.

I went to school with Jeff he was always very active and always had a smile on his face. I was the trainer for the hockey team so I spent a lot of time with him and Joe. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.

I remember Jeffie as a vibrant, funny, all around nice young man. He played hockey with my sons at Tam O'Shanter. Always had a smile on his face and he gave 110% during practices and games. May God comfort the family during this time of sorrow.
