Julie (Schmuhl) Wilson

November 28th, 1946 - August 14th, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Julie Ann Schmuhl, who left us on August 14th, 2024, at the age of 77. Julie passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Beverly (Hicks) Schmuhl; and her son, Kirk Steven Wilson. She is survived by her devoted children, Chad (Phoebe) Wilson, and Meegan Wilson; cherished grandchildren, Kade Klein, Sawyer Klein, and Owen Bleckner; her loving sisters, Terrie (James) Weiss, and Tracey (James) Gill; and many treasured friends. Julie also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, all of whom she adored.

Julie was a woman of many interests. She found joy in traveling, reading, and tending to her garden, but her greatest love was spending time with family and friends. Known for her warmth and hospitality, Julie welcomed all who entered her home with open arms, often sharing a homecooked meal and lively conversation. Her love for her family was boundless.

Julie was a graduate of Woodward High School in 1964. She later became a dedicated insurance representative, spending many years with McVickers Insurance in Whitehouse, Ohio, and Schroyer Insurance in Bowling Green, Ohio. Her compassionate and caring nature left a lasting impression on her colleagues and clients.

Julie's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will remain forever in our hearts. We are grateful for every moment she shared and every memory she left us. She will be dearly missed, and her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Julie on October 27th from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Oak Openings Lodge, located at 5440 Wilkins Rd., Whitehouse, Ohio, in Oak Openings Preserve Metropark.
