Kenneth CUPPS Obituary

CUPPS Kenneth Ken passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, on May 23, 2010. Ken was born to Walter and Grace Cupps on April 17, 1928 in Toledo, OH. Ken was a 55 plus year member of Lotus and Paramore F & AM Masonic Lodge and a Past Commander of American Legion Post 18. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946-1948 and retired from Dana Corp., Spicer Division as Computer Operations Supervisor. He was a member of Glenwood Lutheran Church, the South Toledo Golf Course and Southside Post # 53, American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Grace; infant daughter, Mary Rose and sister, Rose. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy; sons, Greg (Patti), Jeff (Verna) and daughter, Cynthia (Kevin); grandsons, Craig (Jamie) and David (Sarah); granddaughters, Jennifer and Jessica (Kyle); great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Ashley, Derek, Kylee and Brynlee; sister, Georgia Bell and brother, Walter, Jr. Ken loved his family, his God and his country. There will be no visitation and as per his request he will be cremated. A Memorial celebrating Ken's life will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Lutheran Church (2545 Monroe St.). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Glenwood Lutheran Church. Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (419) 269-1111.
