Leonard Kutzke Obituary
Leonard Michael Kutzke, born April 10, 1933, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2022 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband, father, and "Boompa", Len graduated Libbey High School in 1951. He married the love of his life, Carolyn Jean Chrisman, in 1955 and had two devoted daughters. Len retired from Owens-Illinois in the early 1990s after 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Wanda Kutzke; brother, Ron Kutzke, brother-in-law, Chuck Chrisman; and other beloved family and friends.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Carol; brother, Marvin (Diana) Kutzke; daughters, Kay Kindice (Joe Pestello), Bev (Gary) Sanders; grandchildren, Kim Madalinski, Michael (Angela) Madalinski, Carolyn (Jay) Palmer, Liam Newberry; great-granddaughters, Lily and Evie, and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held Thursday, September 29 at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Ottawa Lake, MI at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. A private burial will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to St. Michael Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice. Online condolences to

My deepest condolences to Carol and family! I had the pleasure to work with Len for a short time at Sem-Com after his retirement from O-I. We had great times at the company parties and I have fond memories of Len. He had my and the Pfaender family's deepest respect. God bless you and your family!
