Michael Deibler Obituary
Michael J.
Michael J. Deibler, age 70, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by family and friends.
A graduate of Central Catholic High School, 1962, and University of Toledo, 1978. Mike was a U.S. Army Aviation veteran, serving in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, 1966-1967. Mike worked in the Corporate Transportation Department of Owens Illinois and retired from the Andersons Transportation Department in 2008.
He had an avid automotive interest and was an early-on member of the Glass City Corvette Club, having bought his first Corvette in 1967. He has collected other Corvettes, but still has the original car. Mike was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and life member of Vietnam Veterans of America.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Karen; children, Jennifer (Rob) Martin, Mark (Carol) Deibler; grandchildren, Paul and Emma Martin and sister, Helen (Bill) Hubbell.
Friends may visit at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd., on Monday, December 8, from 2-8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9, at St. Joseph Church, 104 W. Broadway, Maumee, OH 43537, at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Joseph Church, Maumee or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Please view and sign our online "guest registry" at:
