Coach E...Not enough heart felt words could describe this man. Mentor, friend, and the best coach a wrestler could have. He touched so many young lives that he surely sits in heaven looking down on all of us. I hope we make you proud. You are greatly missed and will never be forgotten! Love you and rest in peace.

Mike, I Love You Like My Brother, I Miss You Like My Father, I only have the regret not being near by to support you in your pain....but then you never complained on your pain just projected it to give your students, wrestlers and those close to you the joy of success and adventure. Mike was always a gentle man never saying a bad word toward others. He only prepared his students and wrestlers for the battles of life and he was a champion for the least talented wrestler and student as well as the most accomplished. I love this man and what he stood for and now he is in Heaven pinning and catching the big FISH......."WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT" MATTHEW 25:21

Mike was a mentor, coach and friend, i'll always remember how he helped us all out in the wrestling rooms back in the late 70's, i will remember him as a down to earth man who loved us guys, helped form us as young men, and always had a listening ear.

Mr. E always believed in me and was "the teacher" that truly spoke to me. I have thought fondly over the years about him and am very sad to see this notice. I'm sorry for the "relevant sarcasm" and happy we could bring you the sixth grade softball trophy in 1980ish.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Eschrich's family, friends, and all who knew him. Mr. E was both my English teacher and my wrestling coach. I remember very well going to wrestling tournaments during the summer with Mr. E. Rest in peace Mike!

While I did not know Michael or his brother if either of you were like your father, Sheldon I know that you were among the best. In my younger years, Sheldon was my mentor not only with the organ but with music in general. Know that family will be in my prayers as you mourn the loss of Michael. God Bless!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family.
Mike was a inspiration in my life and especially my wrestling career. He would set up workouts, take us to tournaments and was a great teacher. It is people like Mike that guide us and shape us into the adults we are now and I will always appreciate his part in my life.
Thank You Mike, Rest In Peace.
