Michael Merce Obituary
01/14/1954 - 09/13/2023
Michael (Mike) Ray Merce, age 69, of Holland, OH, passed away September 13, 2023. Michael was born January 14, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia to Clarence and Betty (Harrison) Merce. He attended Maumee High School and Penta County Vocational School and graduated in the class of 1973. He was employed with Penske Truck Leasing for more than 25 years retiring in 2016. In retirement, he enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his grandson.
Michael was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cindy, of years 39 years; as well as his father, Clarence. He is survived by his son, Michael (Jennifer); mother, Betty Merce; sisters, Vicki (Rusty) Janicki and Connie (Jim) Beallas; as well as his and grandson, Aaryn Merce. In addition, he is survived by a large extended family on his wife's side.
There be no memorial service at this time but there will be a celebration of Mike's life at a future date.
