Nancy L. Plath, 77, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born February 5, 1944 in Dearborn, Michigan to Kenneth and Mary (Watson) Mathers.
Nancy, Ms. Nancy, as her students would call her, retired, after a long career and passionate role as a teacher, was an avid ballroom dancer and enjoyed playing ping pong and pickleball.
She is survived by her son, Michael Plath (Jennifer Hernes); and nieces and newphews, Robert (Bob), William (Bill), and Sherri, all of greater SE Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Mathers.
Services for Nancy will be private. A memorial/celebration of Nancy's life will be held at a later TBD date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
