Opal Rothschild

ROTHSCHILD Opal Opal Rothschild, age 78, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009, in St. Luke's Hospital. She was born February 15, 1931, in Burrville, TN, to Egbert and Ruby (Aytes) Jones. Opal was employed as a telephone operator at Owens Illinois for 20 years and later with Lucas County. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, bird watching, especially cardinals, reading and spending time with her family. Opal was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg, DenDara Court and O.B.P.W.A. Opal is survived by her children, Kim (Ken) Warnke, Tim (Carol) Roths- child, Kevin (Susan) Rothschild, Todd (Debbie) Rothschild, Lisa (Gene) Bigelow and Lance (Marty) Rothschild; grandchildren, Trent and Troy Warnke, Stephanie and Geno Bigelow and Audra and Khale Rothschild and Mike Jason; sisters, Hazel (Bill) Bailey, Helen Branstetter and Rose (T.T.) Stabinski. Also surviving is many nieces and nephews who she enjoyed tremendously. In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Jones and Amos and Helen Rothschild. Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in Zoar Lutheran Church, Perrysburg. Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
