Patsy Pritts Obituary
Patsy A. Pritts was born on December 15, 1937, to Leota and Ernest Bremforder in Toledo, Ohio. She went to be with her Lord on September 18, 2024. Patsy graduated from Burnham High School in Sylvania in 1955 and the University of Florida in 1960. She was married to Ralph R. Pritts for 64 years and they had one son, Ralph Ryan Pritts. Patsy owned her own decorating and interior design business called Designs Unlimited for 65 years. Patsy and Ron moved from their longtime home in Brooklyn, MI, to Winston Salem, North Carolina, in 2019 to be closer to their son. Ron and Patsy attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Epiphany in Winston Salem, where Patsy was involved with the Martha Circle.
Patsy was an active and valued member of Olivet Lutheran Church in Sylvania, OH, for 80 years. She served in many capacities throughout those years including Church Council, the weekly Daily Bread Community meal and leading a fundraising campaign for a new addition to the church. Patsy was also a lead member of the Master Building Committee that was responsible for designing and monitoring the 2005 construction of the building addition known as the Christian Life Center. Her interior design skills are evident throughout the building including the chapel renovation, kitchen facilities, Sunday school and youth rooms. Patsy had the ability to look below the surface of any proposal to see how it would affect others, even if the "others" were only a few. Patsy's impact continues to be seen throughout all of Olivet. In fact, she continued to consult with staff even this summer on recent building upgrades. Her design knowledge and insight were invaluable to all those with whom she ever worked. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends!
Patsy is survived by her husband, Ralph (Ron) Pritts; their son, Ralph Ryan Pritts; niece, Lynn Garrison; and nephews, Terry Curann, David Becker and Richard Becker.
A celebration of life service will be planned in the spring of 2025 at Olivet Lutheran Church.
Memorial donations in Patsy's honor can be made to Olivet Lutheran Church in Sylvania or the Sight Center of Northwest Ohio.
