Paula Sue Hansen

Paula Sue Hansen, age 75, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Toledo Hospital. She was born on December 4, 1949, in Michigan, to the late James and Audrey (Willey) Beutler.

Paula married her beloved husband, Thomas Hansen, on October 9, 1971, and together they built a loving family. Along with raising her children, Paula worked at various places over the years, including Haas Bakery and Schweizer Fruit Farm & Greenhouse. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fremont and Perrysburg, where she dedicated much of her time to volunteering and serving others.

Family was at the center of Paula's life. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed sharing her many talents with them. In her spare time, Paula loved knitting, sewing, and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.

Paula is survived by her husband, Thomas Hansen; her children, Crista (Shawn) Stevens and Roy Hansen; grandchildren, Seth Wyatt, Charles Wyatt, and Keyghan James; siblings, Jane Mengot, Jon (Sheila) Beutler, Annie (Roger) Beutler, and Joel (Janelle) Beutler; and nieces and nephews, including Camille Hansen and Celeste Hansen. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Audrey Beutler; and her brother, Kevin Beutler.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, Ohio, on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 2:00–8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11050 Avenue Rd., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions can be made to iDance/Apac.
