Bob Rittichier coached football and wrestling at Rogers High School. He won Roger's first GLL championship with his 59-60 wrestling team. He had a very successful coaching career. One reason is the guys liked and respected him and worked hard for him. He was always fair with everyone. He was a great guy and will be missed.

I'm so bery sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I was lucky enough to work with him at Bowsher and live across the hall from him and son Greg before he married Gail. He was an awesome administrator and excellent example for our young students, and an all around nice guy! Prayers to Gail, Greg and Jeff as you mourn his loss.

I worked in the school office with Mr. Rittichier, he was the most fair person. I can r remember kids being brought into the office and rather then yell at them, Mr. Rittichier would set them down in his office and talk to them. He was so loved by all of the students in the school. Roger's High School Class of 1976

"Respect" is the best word to describe Bob Rittichier. He was a great coach and always a leader. We were all very fortunate having Mr. Rittichier involved in our early lives. My best to his family as they mourn his passing!

He was the Dean of Boys when I was there in 76 and then again in 77-78. He was firm, but fair and I still remember him fondly. RIH Sir!

Mr. Rittichier was my American History teacher at Rogers in the early 60s. He was a terrific teacher that we all liked and admired. I worked at Sears at Westgate and would run into him there with his family. My sympathy to his family who had such a wonderful man in their lives.

Mr. Rittichier was my American History teacher at Rogers High School in 1960. He was certainly a dedicated teacher and sports enthusiast! Learning of his passing brings back fond memories of those high school days. I am sending my sincere sympathy to his family; hopefully, it helps to know that his students remember him with respect. May he rest in peace.

An amazing man that treated all the students at Toledo's Rogers High School sternly but fairly. His sense of humor was obvious to many of us and he had a way of handling tough situations in a straight forward manner. One of my most fondly remembered authorities during my high school days. Bob will always be thought of with respect, admiration and some of my best memories of Rogers High. Rest in Peace.

I saw Mr. Rittichier obit in The Blade. He was my wee pee baseball coach and I have great memories. He ignored my inability to hit or field and made me paly. He was a leader of boys and undoubtedly a leader of men. He took his time and devoted it to us. I have long ago lost touch with Jeff and Greg but I liked them both a lot and saw both at least for a time post college as we moved into our careers. I was not exactly a straight arrow but those two were and were great guys and good athletes. I found Jeff on Linked in and can see to no surprise the success he has had as I am sure all of the Rittichiers had thanks to great parents like I was also fortunate enough to have. My condolences to entire family and my brothers and I all appreciate what Mr. Rittichier did for us 50 plus years ago. Jeff and Greg-look me up if you return to Toledo sometime-419-343-9011.
