Robert Super, known as Bob in Toledo (Shoreland) Ohio, formerly of the Polish Village, passed away April 29, 2023, in Ridgewood Manor. Bob was born June 22, 1929, in Toledo Ohio. A hard-working, passionate man from a young age, he began his journey at the age of 12 working for White Hut at Detroit and Collingwood. Bob had multiple careers including driving semis for 28 years! But his favorite of all was working for the Ohio State Highway Patrol where he served multiple roles. But most importantly, Bob lived a true love story that most of us can only dream of. Bob married the love of his life (Alice Lewandowski) on January 29, 1949, with whom he shared more than 60 years of marriage! Bob was always a positive person to be around and someone to look up to for many. Some of his favorite activities included dancing, solving problems, learning new things like flying planes, flipping cars, and socializing with his many groups of friends. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 31 years. Bob left an impact on many and will be remembered for his amazing personality, love for his family, and dedication to success.

Surviving are his children, Robert (Rhonda) Super, Jr., and Donald Super; grandchildren, James, Trudy, Renee, Heather, Jeff, and Brian; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceding him in death are his wife, Alice; his son, James; his brothers, Eugene and Albert; his sister, Angeline; and his parents.

Bob's Memorial Service will be Saturday May 27, 2023, at 1 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Urbanski Funeral Home a Life Celebration Home, 5055 Secor Rd., Toledo, Ohio. Inurnment will be private at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Toledo, Ohio.
