Terry McColl, 66, passed away peacefully in his home on January 16, 2013. He was born on June 16, 1946, in Statesville, North Carolina. His parents were William II and Kay D. McColl. He and his siblings helped their parents at their Anderson's Heritage Restaurant in Toledo as youngsters. He continued to the be cook at all family gatherings throughout his life.

He received his BS from UT, and worked as a quality control chemist for 40 years, serving several companies including Canberra, The Andersons, Nabisco, and Lubrizol. He was a voracious reader and Jeopardy fan, and enjoyed researching family genealogy.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Britt McColl, whom he married in 1976. He is also survived by his children, Laurie McColl of Toledo, Katie Sloan of Swanton, Ryan McColl of Monclova, Shannon (Kevin) Veal of Mobile, AL, and Kevin McColl of Waterville, and grandchildren, Colin Sloan, and Dravin and Corbin Veal. He is also survived by his brother, William "Mack" McColl III (Sandy) of Florida, and sister, Sharon Bond, of Maryland, and was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Kay McColl. He was the son-in-law, of Frank and Jessie Britt, both deceased, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, of Tom and Marianne Duvendack of Whitehouse, and Earl and Karen Britt of Wayne, Ohio. He will also be missed by several many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home in Whitehouse Ohio on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m., with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Internment will be private at a later date.
