Ruth Barger Obituary
Ruth E. Barger, 93, passed away at her home in Temperance, MI. She was born December 31, 1924, in Toledo and was the daughter of Lawrence and Neva Dudley. Ruth was a machine operator for General Mills for over 28 years. She was a faithful member of Regina Coeli Church for 65 years and a member of the 25 Year Club of General Mills.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Spoonmore; sons, Jerold (Tammi) Barger and David (Lisa) Barger; grandchildren, Angela (Will), Alex (Nikki), Becky, Anthony (Amber) and Jerrod; great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, Brendan, Jacob, Kylie and Dajuan; sister, Joanne Long and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Barger; brothers, Tom, Robert and Arthur; sister, Rita and son-in-law, Gary Spoonmore.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 3-8 p.m. on Monday, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Avenue, (between Secor and Douglas Roads). Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m., at Regina Coeli Church. Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
