Terry Baker Obituary

Terry was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, where he spent most of his life before later residing in Walbridge, Ohio. Terry was best known for his lifelong passion as an exceptional drummer. He began playing as a young boy, and at age 14 was performing in popular bands, including the well-known Toledo band, Georgia Peach. Beyond music, Terry valued time spent with his family.
Terry was a warm, loving, and hilarious man - a rock-and-roll soul who loved his family deeply and lived his life with rhythm and heart.
Terry was preceded in death by his spouse, Tammy Baker; and his parents, Joseph Eugene Baker (1991) and Emma Albera Ingram (1967). He is survived by his children, Brent Baker (Kayla), with grandchildren, Bella and Benjamin; Jeremy Baker (Kailene); and Shelby Low (Nathan), with granddaughter, Adeline.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held at a dinner gathering in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Vickers Leslie Funeral Home, 109 N. Church St./PO Box 503, Leslie, MI 49251. 517-878-6600.

I played in Georgia Peach with Terry and we shared some other gigs as well. Terry is a kind and generous soul. Terry was a fantastic drummer, and he loved his coffee! Although we hadn´t seen each other for a while, I loved our friendship. RIH, Terry.
