Thomas Zraik Obituary
Thomas George Zraik, 85, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Tom was born on February 18, 1937, to Edward and Marie Zraik in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Woodward High School where he was active in theater, a member of National Honor Society, and served on Student Council as a Vice President in his Sophomore and Junior years, and President his Senior year. After graduating from Woodward in 1954, he attended the University of Toledo where he was active in campus life. He was president of the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, president of the Inter-Fraternity Council, a member of the varsity golf team and active in university theater. He then attended law school at Ohio State University, where he met and married the love of his life, Mary Cavasinni. He passed the bar and practiced law from 1964 until his passing.
As a young man Tom was an accomplished pool player; he earned his way through college playing pool, bridge, poker, and other games. He loved golf and was a member of Highland Meadows Golf Club, Belmont Country Club, and Innisbrook Golf Club in Tarpon Springs, FL. Throughout his career he shot eight holes-in-one.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Dianne Zraik. Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; his children, Tomlyn (Richard) Chambers, Molly Zraik, Jennifer (David) Eck, Edward Zraik; nine grandchildren; and sisters, Renee McGee and Linda Zraik.

Dear Mary & Family,
You have my deepest condolences on the passing of Tom. He was my attorney for 40 years, a great friend, and confidant. Tom was one of the smartest people I´ve had the privilege of being around. He will be greatly missed by all. I am currently in Israel visiting my daughter Natalie otherwise I would be with you today.

Tom was the greatest friend anyone who knew him could ever hope to have. He was sharper than a tack, wittier than a fox, and filled with kindly humor the likes of which folks such as Jamie Farr appreciated. I thank God for you, Tommy.
