Bill was born on October 27, 1948, in Toledo, OH, to Lawrence and Dorothy Dombrowsky. He was a 1966 graduate of Libbey High School. After graduating, Bill worked for Container Graphics, and then for Dynamic Dies, where he had worked the past 30 years. An avid bowler, Bill served as president of Martini and Nuzzi's Classic bowling league for many years. Bill was a devoted Ohio State football fan and also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing cards with his friends. He spent many years coaching peewee baseball in Toledo, and girl's softball in Maumee. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Pam; daughters, Dawn (Mike) Bennett and Heather (Phil) Klingensmith; grand-children, Morgan and Tyler Bennett and Camryn Klingensmith; brother, Dave (Barb) Dombrowsky. wow.. i cant believe 'willie' is gone. he will definately be missed. he was a great man and father and coach.. one of a kind! the memory that will always stick out in my mind is one summer, years and years ago,, Sarah (neyhart) freeman and i rode bikes to see him before a big tournament or game and we wrapped up my arm and slinged it as if it were broke. just to scare him. the joke lasted awhile and then we told him it was all for fun. obviously, we liked to be pranksters too!
still thinking of you all..Pam, Dawn, and HEather... and condolences...

Pam and family,
I am surprised and saddened by Bill's death. "Mr. Dombrowsky" kept me on the Harvard Huskies peewee team even though, on reflection, my talent may not have merited it. I always played, and always knew I was a member of the team. It was also pretty cool that we went for ice cream even when we lost. Later in life, I ran into Bill several times while playing in local bands. I can't forget the first time I looked down from my keyboard to see his big 'ol grin and cheezy mustache staring at me. What a surprise! He never failed to say "hi" and take a few minutes to find out what I was up to. Bill definitely made the world a little nicer for those he affected. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.

Pam, Bob and I send our deepest sympathy and please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you. As you know, Bob shares Bill's passion for OSU and I'm sure Bill will be cheering from the very best seat on Monday night.

Pam & Family, The years pass much too quickly but our memories last forever. Bill and I lived and played together as kids in our small south Toledo neighborhood. We grew up & our lives took different paths after HS. I remember when I heard that Bill had married "Pam T" a lovely girl that I also knew from church and Libbey HS "68". I am so sorry for your loss, but am confident that your lives were full and showered with many blessings. May it bring you comfort to know how special Bill was to so many people over so many years. God Bless, Pam C

I had the privilege of working day to day with Bill for quite a few years. He knew how to take an ordinary day and make it better. He met challenges and distasteful situations with grace and humor. I enjoyed his phone calls and for almost an entire year looked forward every day to his jokes. I even kept a notebook titled (not surprisingly) “Bill’s Jokes.” When Bill walked into a room, the room became a brighter place.
My sincere sympathies to his family, friends, coworkers and customers as Bill will be greatly missed.
