William Murphy Obituary
William R. Murphy, 76, of Toledo, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Center.
He was born June 22, 1946 in Toledo to William E. and Evelyn (Wade) Murphy.
William served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam aboard the USS Enterprise, and was also a Marine Veteran. He had worked several years as an electrician at I.B.E.W. Local 8. In 1992 he went to work for CSX Railroad as an electrician for 20 years. He was also a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church. William will be remembered as a devoted father and pop.
Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Susan (Specht) Murphy; children, William (Betty) Murphy, Bridget (Mike) Juhasz, Seamas (Robin) Murphy, Sean Murphy, Tim (Sharon) Murphy, Erin (Ed) Doran, Molly (Rod) Sharp, and Megan Murphy; 28 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Michael Murphy. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn; infant daughter, Mary; daughter, Constance Guth; brother, Timothy Murphy; and infant granddaughter Gabrielle Murphy.
All services will be held privately. David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, Toledo has been entrusted with arrangements.

Our prayers are with the family. The lord comes for us all at some point, but he doesn't make it easy for the remaining to cope. That is where family comes in.
