William "Bill" Old

William Old Obituary

OLD William W. "Bill" William "Bill" Old passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2008, in his home under the care of Hospice. Born September 13, 1949, to Alvin and Marian (Shrader) Old, his mother preceded him in death. An employee of The Bedford School System for twenty years, most recently at Monroe Road Elementary, Bill will be fondly remembered by the staff and students for his shenanigans, for he was just a BIG KID himself. A kindhearted man who enjoyed Detroit Sports, playing games on his computer, gardening and fixing everything his wife would break. His many friends and family members will miss him dearly but his memory will live on in our hearts. Bill is survived by his wife, Sue Keeling-Old; sons, Ryan and Devin Old and their families; his first grandchild that is due in August; his stepchildren, Terri Arp, Monica and Nicholas Keeling; step-granddaughter, Jaimi Lind, father and stepmother, Alvin and Jean Old; brother and sister-in-law, Alvin (Bud) and Ruth Old. Friends and family are invited to visit Wednesday, May 21, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Toledo (419-476-9176) Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in St Clement Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd., Fr. Ed Littlemann presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Clement School library fund, 3020 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo Ohio 43613. We would like to send a heartfelt thanks to everyone, our family, friends, Bedford School Employees, Monroe Road staff and the wonderful kids for all the cards, gifts, pictures, visits and the prayers. You made Bill smile. Also for the care given through Hospice; his nurse, Karrie and to our friend, Melody for helping us through this difficult time.
