Roy Ford Obituary

Roy Leon Ford passed away peacefully at home December 31, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Madra, and daughters, Tami (Wes) and Traci (John). Grandchildren, Cara, Amber, Will, Mark, Jill, Jane; and six great-grandchildren.

Roy was born December 7, 1935, in Houston, Texas. Roy and Madra were married for 66 years. They met at Sam Houston State Teachers College-now SHSU, in Huntsville, Texas. He coached football at Huntsville Junior High for three years before joining the family business-Ford's Chevy Service-in Tomball. He was an avid golfer at the Tomball Country Club. Roy and Madra were charter members at the Wimbledon Racquet Club. Roy spent numerous deer seasons at his lease in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Roy will be remembered for his excellent cooking skills, golfing, hunting, entertaining, and fun loving spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
