Daniel Negron Obituary
He worked for Rossi's Bakery and Hill Refrigeration, both in Trenton, and retired from Hill Refrigeration in 1988.
He was the patriarch of a very large family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carlos Negron and Petra Torres, his siblings, Goya, Luisa, Graciano and Concepcion, and his son, Carlos. He is survived by his brother, Viginio Negron of Trenton; his sister, Maria Negron of Vineland; his wife, Julia; his children, Dan Negron Jr. of Bordentown Township, Maria Negron and her fiancé Jose Diaz of Trenton, Jenny Bethea of Trenton, Richard and Michelle Negron of Nashville, Tenn., Eddie Negron and Myrna Ortiz of Trenton, Enrique and Hazel Negron of Ewing, Michael Angel Negron and Laurie McDonough of Hamilton, David A. and Claire Negron of West Palm Beach, Fla., Robert V. and Kathy Negron of Ewing; his grandchildren, Carlos Hernandez, Julia and Luis Santiago, Myiesha Hearns, Nicole Bethea, Carlos Bethea, Sarina Negron, Richard Negron, Nina Negron, Carla Williams, Jessica Rivera, Alexandra Negron, Eddie Negron II, Daniel Negron III, Nini, Michael Negron Jr. and Jeniyah Rodriguez, Matthew Negron, Olivia Negron, Celeste Negron, Elena Negron, Robert Vincent Negron Jr., Robert David Negron and Jessica Negron; and over 15 great-grandchildren.
He was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Holy Name Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Mary's Cathedral. He was among the first wave of Puerto Ricans to arrive in Trenton in 1956. The center of his life was his family, his wife, children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial, to be officiated by the Reverend Alcides Castro Lopez, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 4) at The Cathedral of the St. Mary Assumption, 151 N. Warren St., Trenton, NJ 08608. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (Dec. 3), and again on Saturday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 S. Broad St., Trenton, NJ 08611. (Parking and handicap accessibility are located behind the funeral home). Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton.

I am sadden to hear that my Godfather passed away. Unfortunately when I found out it was too late for me to go pay my respects. I want to say to the family that my heart goes out to you ALL and that my prayers are with you. He was a wonderful man to my Mom and Dad.
