Maureen Sciullo Obituary

Maureen A. (Lynch) Sciullo, 57, of Plum, entered into glory Monday, Nov. 14, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey D. Sciullo; loving mother of Jeffrey D. (Kai) Sciullo Jr., Allison (Anthony) McCracken and Madison Sciullo; dear "Ga Ga" of Penelope, Delaney, Felicity and one expected grandchild; daughter of Mary (Logan) and the late Joseph Lynch; sister of Donna Lynch, Joseph (Dee Dee) Lynch, Kevin (Jackie) Lynch, Colleen (Steven) Sciullo and Gail (John) Paljug. Maureen is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maureen was a free spirit, one of the most extraordinary people you would ever meet, once met you would fall in love with her instantly, and her with you! Her unique laugh was as unforgettable as she was and the mark she leaves on your heart will last forever. Her compassion as a registered nurse was apparent and available to all. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road (across from S & T Bank), Plum, PA 15239, where a blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday. If desired, the Sciullo family suggests memorials to a charity of choice. 5

Maureen was a great girl! I met her in grade school and became fast friends. She was so easy to love. Her sense of humor and liveliness was so magnetic. I haven't seen her since high school but never forgot about our friendship.
My heart goes out to all of those that were close with her, and I know your memories will spark up a laugh and keep her alive in your hearts.
I will continue to pray for all of you, that the Lord will give you all strength in your time of sorrow.
Until we meet again Maureen...keep 'em laughing!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Colleen shared so many incredible stories of the love in her family. May you all remember the good times.

I was at Amplify church one Sunday in the balcony. I looked down and saw a couple obviously totally enjoying the service. The woman had bright pink hair. That scene put me in an instant good mood. As I was leaving, I ran in to her in the hallway and realized it was Maureen, whom I knew from living across the street from her sister Gail. There is no doubt that Heaven is now a lot livelier.
