Anthony D'Angelo Obituary

Anthony J. D'Angelo, 89, of Somerset, a native of North Braddock, died Saturday, June 4, 2016. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, James and Angelina D'Angelo; his dear longtime friend and companion, Melvin "Bruce" Loughner; and his siblings, Leo, Angie and Nick D'Angelo and Jo Hamilton. He was the brother of Vincent (Rose) D'Angelo, of North Huntingdon; and devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. Tony was a retired employee of Continental Can Co. in West Mifflin. He took great pride and cared deeply for his family, and was especially fond of his nieces and nephews. Tony enjoyed being an entertaining host to his family, neighbors and friends and could always be counted on to cook and bake his excellent specialties. He also loved to garden, prepare Sunday dinners, listen to music, dance and take trips to Kennywood.

Uncle Tony, you sure will be missed. Holidays and celebrations are not going to be the same without you there. I will also miss the drive to your home in Somerset. But oh, all the sweet memories that I have from when I was a little girl until now. You were a great Uncle. Love Kim.
