Timothy Quinn Obituary

Timothy Lloyd "TQ" Quinn, 39, of Fitz Henry, born on Aug. 5, 1986, tragically lost his life on Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, while at work at U.S. Steel, where he was a proud and dedicated employee for 17 years. He was lovingly welcomed into Heaven by his father, Thomas "Bunyo" L. Quinn; his sister, Tina Dennis; his brothers, Jeremy Quinn, Thomas Quinn, and Brandon Nightman; his beloved dog, Brutus; his cherished Pechin Burgers; and numerous loved ones who passed before him. Timothy is the beloved son of Debra Quinn (Thorne) and the late Thomas "Bunyo" L. Quinn of Fitz Henry. He is survived by his heartbroken sister and best friend, Trisha Quinn (Jeff Hoak Jr.); his brother, Jason Quinn (Aimee); and his forever love, Lucinda Dodds. His proudest legacy lives on in his three children: Jeremiah Quinn, Lilliana Quinn, and Teagan Quinn, whom he cherished above all else. Bonus kids included Gunner and Benny, who held a special place in his heart. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews "all the kids" who adored their uncle, Tim especially Jeremy Quinn Jr., in whose life he played a vital and loving role. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, extended family, and countless friends and loved ones. Timmy had a passion for life and its simple joys. He loved fishing, riding his Harley, scratching off lottery tickets (especially when he won), and being surrounded by family and friends. He was known for his sharp humor, his big heart, and a spirit that brought people together. Some of his favorite things in life included blasting "Caribbean Queen," watching The Lord of the Rings and cartoons and cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers. (He once famously helped save a 70-year-old woman at Steelers training camp something he never talked much about, but those who knew, knew.) These small joys and the way he shared them will be remembered with love and a smile. Timothy's absence leaves a space that can never be filled. The sun will never shine quite as bright again but his light continues through the memories he created, the people he touched, and the love he gave so freely. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at the Bible Alliance Church, 1300 Mt. Pleasant Road, West Newton, PA 15089. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon, the time of the funeral service, Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at Bible Alliance Church, with Pastor Corey Dalley officiating.
