William Marsh Obituary

William R. "Wink" Marsh, 46, walked through the gates of heaven to be in the arms of his Lord and Savior Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010. He passed away unexpectedly and peacefully while surrounded by his family. He was born to Rollin (Oscar) and Betty (Keller) Marsh on April 7, 1964, in Mt. Pleasant. He married Sharon Kay Karch on June 5, 2009. He enjoyed writing poetry, singing and he always had a home remodeling project going on. Bill had a kind, loving and giving heart. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He will be sadly missed by his wife, pets, friends and family. Bill attended Southmoreland High School and obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Law. He owned and operated Bil-Dom Construction and was also employed by Ryan Homes of Pittsburgh. Bill is survived by his wife; three sons (to a previous relationship), Jonathon, Jason and William "Billy"; his parents, Rollin Marsh (Lorraine), of Latrobe, and Betty Marsh, of Scottdale; his sister, Bonnie (James) Preston, of Carmichaels; his sister, Beth Ann (John) Sirianni, of Scottdale; and his brother, Brent (Barb), of Harmony. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Bates. Viewing will be Wednesday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, McKean St., Butler, PA 16001, followed by services there Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ellen O'Brian Gaiser Center, 165 Old Plank Road, Butler, PA 16001.
