Tacoma, Washington - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of David H. Walters, beloved husband, father, grandfather and US Marine. He passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024 at the age of 81. He was at the Community Living Center at the American Lake Campus. His wife of 59 years, Angie, was at his side.

David was born November 9, 1943 in Tacoma, WA. He graduated from Shadle Park High in Spokane, WA, class of 1962. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Viet-Nam war.

He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Ellen Walters and brother Norman Walters. He is survived by his wife Angie, son David (Roxanne), daughter Cheryl and grandson Logan.

He retired from Greyhound Bus Lines as a bus driver of 30 years. He enjoyed traveling all the states and brought many smiles to all he met. His spare time was spent playing as much golf as possible.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on December 12, 2024 at New Tacoma Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Michael McDermott.
