Edgewood, Washington - We are extremely sad to announce the passing of our loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend.
Jack passed away at his home in Edgewood, Washington of natural causes. He was 82.
Jack was born to Amelia Lena Shuckhart (Olson) and Joseph Fredrick Prill in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
Moving to Washington State as a young boy, he grew up in the Sumner area, graduating from Sumner High School class of 1957. After serving as a missile technician in the United States Military, stationed in Okinawa Japan, he returned to Sumner, first working for Rohr Aircraft in Auburn then eventually joining St. Regis Industrial in Tacoma, Washington, later becoming facility manager until his retirement.
After retiring, Jack and his loving wife Danna, enjoyed snowbirding in the warmth of Arizona, living near his "favorite" brother Jim and his wife Glenda. 10 years later, they all decided Washington was home, and back they came.
Jack was preceded by both his Mother and Father, Stepfather, LaVere Shuckhart, and Sisters Catherine Wegner, Caroline Jacobsen, Josephine Mcintire, and Dolores O'Dell.
He is missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Danna June, Brother James "Jim" Douglas Prill (Glenda), Son Joseph David Prill (Damarys), Daughter Julia Danna Coulter, Grand Daughters, Kayla Prill (Alex), Stephanie Johnson, Kelci Zile, and Marisol Gonzales.
Those that shared their lives with Jack knew him as a kind, loving and thoughtful man who loved tinkering with classic cars, and spent endless hours working in his yard. Never passed up a swap meet or a car show and knew all his neighbors on a first-name basis.

Joseph John Prill's ashes will rest at the Sumner Cemetery in Puyallup, Washington.
