Kimberly Gonzalez Obituary

Kimberly B. Gonzalez Kimberly (Brown) Gonzalez, born 3/30/1964, died unexpectedly on 3/31/2006 while visiting from Salt Lake City. Kim graduated from Stadium High in 1982, and attended college in Ft Wayne, IN. She was a selfless volunteer, especially at the American Diabetes Association and the Girl Scouts. Recently she was employed by Primerica Financial. Kim struggled with complications of diabetes and 2 years ago underwent a successful kidney transplant. Kim wanted to urge all who read this to become organ donors. Kim is remembered with love and admiration for her amazing spirit by husband William and son Josiah of Salt Lake City, mother Gini Drummond, Tacoma, father John Brown (Marla) of Redondo Beach, sister Keryn Leger (Doug) of San Diego, brother Kevin Brown (Mike) of Irvine, and many special friends who have helped sustain her, including special doc, David McCowen, and her other 'sister', Kim Crowder. Kim asked that we celebrate her life and freedom from medical challenges at Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church, 7700 Skansie Ave, Gig Harbor. Services will be held 4/4/2006 at 4:00pm.

Will, I grieve to hear of your loss. While I did not have the blessing of meeting your wife, the stories I have heard from those who did meet her have been a great testimony of her enduring strength and spirit, her love for the Lord, and of her great wisdom. I pray that God will comfort you and your family, blessing you all with the fond memories you have of her.

Kim will always be an inspiration to us. If I can attain a small fraction of the faith she had, I'll consider myself rich indeed. Our hearts and prayers go out to Will, JJ, and Kim's entire family.
