NICHOLAS HODGINS Obituary

Nicholas Alan Hodgins Nicholas Alan Hodgins was born on October 14, 1991, and was taken from us unexpectedly, going home to be with the Lord on June 10, 2010. He was a graduate of Decatur's Class of 2010 and hoped to study sound production at the Seattle Art Institute. Nicholas is survived by his father Darrel Hodgins, mother and stepfather Mary and Charles Bobbitt, sister Brandi Gleason, niece Karissa Callaham, and much extended family. He enjoyed playing his guitar, attending live concerts, and spending time with family and friends. Although we only had him for a short time, Nick's kind heart and gentle spirit touched each of our lives in a way that will remain for us forever. Viewing is on Friday, June 18th from 4-7 pm at Bonney Watson Funeral Home, located at 1535 SW Dash Pt. Road in Federal Way. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 11:00 am at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, followed by a memorial service from 1-3 pm at Decatur High School, also in Federal Way.

If yellow roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me. Place them in Nick's arms and tell them they're from me. Tell him that we love and miss him. And when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for awhile. Because remembering him is easy, we do it every day. I am sorry to say that I never had the chance to meet your Beloved Nicholas, nor do I know the family.. I am simply a Mother who is deeply moved by your tragic loss. Please know that you do not cry alone. May God help you all through this most difficult time. May you find compfort in your memoires.
