SHERRY HOLMES Obituary

Sherry Lee Holmes 4.13.39 4.23.17 Always in Our Thoughts Forever in Our Hearts! Sherry will be missed by all the people she cared about, by those who looked up to her and, most especially, by those who loved her. Sherry graduated from Stadium High School in June of 1957. She met and married Robert M. Korver in Aug. of 1959. They had 4 daughters, Michelle, Kim, Candace, and Tatia. In 1959 she was crowned Miss Tacoma and 3rd runner up for Miss Washington. Sherry and her brother were very talented in acrobatics, she did some modeling and had a love for horses. Sherry had 5 grandchildren Tyler, Tanner, David, Troy and Angelina and 6 great grandchildren. Sherry loved spending time with her daughters and grandkids. She was a member of the Tacoma Lariats in the 70's. Tacoma Lariats was a well-known women's drill team on horseback. Sherry traveled around the US, Mexico, and Europe. Sherry was fun, easy going and easy to love, a beautiful soul and always caring for other's needs. Sherry died after a 4 year battle of Alzheimer's at the age of 78 on April 23rd, 2017. She is in God's Presence now and having a reunion with all those that were close to her heart. Sherry our mother was a very kind and fun mother, we will cherish memories with her forever in our hearts. We miss you mom and love you. We are happy you are with Jesus and young vibrant and in God's presence now. Until we meet again you are always in our thoughts. Tatia
