Dr Bill Pratt was the quintessential American and a model for all of us. From our first meeting, via his son Dr David Pratt, I could feel his genuine warmth and witty intelligence. I never saw him without a smile on his face. He made positive contributions to the lives of the people around him as well those in far corners of the world, where he travelled to provide free dental care. People like him are the foundation of the success of the American ideals and brand. We are all mortals and our time here on earth is relatively short. He used his time to provide many positive impacts. I believe that he has evolved from this life into a higher being. He will be dearly missed

My time in BSF-Bible Study Fellowship was tremendously enhanced by wisdom imparted by listening to Bill Pratt. I still refer to one of his quotes and always give him credit: "Most shortcuts are short sighted." Bill would share contemporary stories that brought our studies to life. Praise God for the impact Bill had on my spiritual journey and no doubt countless others. But as the Lord has called you home, I feel certain you were welcomed with, `well done good and faithful servant.´ Blessings and thanks to the family who shared Bill with so many of us. In loving kindness, Ken Lindberg

Jesus was waiting at the gate for Bill. Bill, you helped my walk with the Lord so much. All those years in BSF, how wonderful the memories. Peggy and family, may the Lord bless you and comfort you in this time of loss. How wonderful to know we will see and hug Bill again. Praying for all of you. Jim Grant

Dr. Pratt affectionately referred to as '"Painless" was our family dentist until his retirement. There was one incident when his associate pulled one of my teeth. When the novocaine wore off I thought the wrong tooth had been extracted. I called the office and poor Mrs Pratt was out in the dumpster trying to locate the tooth in question. We laughed about that for years. Dr Pratt and I enjoyed trading barbs leading up to USC / UW Football Game every year. The obituary is such a great tribute and Dr Pratt will always be remembered as a Gentleman and our favorite DDS. RIP
