Lambert Ginsberg Obituary

Lambert L. Ginsberg NISKAYUNA - Lambert L. Ginsberg, 89, of Niskayuna NY died Monday morning close to those he loved. Beloved Son of Norma and Morris Ginsberg born Oct. 16, 1928. Survived by his love Michele, his son, Michael, his daughter-in-law Pamela and his granddaughter Brooke. He was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Union College '49, and Harvard Law School '53. Through his kind and gentle manner, he touched the hearts and lives of all he encountered. Lambert was the measured and thoughtful rock upon whom everyone could rely. In troubled times he was the optimist and the voice of calm and reason. He was a wise and brilliant lawyer of the highest integrity who worked tirelessly on behalf of his clients, most of whom became his lifelong friends. He enjoyed a full and rewarding career practicing with Pattison Sampson Ginsberg & Griffin of Troy, NY for over 60 years. ""President for Life"" as he was fond of saying. He was a member of the American, New York State, Rensselaer County and Schenectady Bar Associations. Lambert served for countless years on the Third Department's Committee on Character and Fitness admitting new attorneys to practice in the state. He was instrumental in developing some of the region's largest projects including RPI's EMPAC center and its Biotech Center. Lambert will be greatly missed. He left this World a much better and brighter place than when he entered it. Services will be held on Friday May 5, 2017 at 11:00am at the Congregation Beth Israel Cemetery Chapel on Abbottsford Road, in Rotterdam, NY .
