Roy Olcott Obituary

OLCOTT, ROY SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO - Roy E. Olcott 65 of South San Francisco, CA passed away Sunday July 10. Roy was born in Troy, NY and had resided in East Syracuse, NY before moving to South San Francisco. He graduated East Syracuse Minoa High School and attended Harpur College in Binghamton, NY. He was employed with the Oakland Unified School District. Roy was predeceased by his two sisters Sharon Olcott Mott in 1977 and Saundra Olcott Marvin in 1997 He is survived by his parents Ray and Eleanor Jordan Olcott of East Syracuse, two nieces Jessika Marvin and Rebecca Marvin and longtime friend Eric Schmitt. Graveside services will be Monday July18 at 1:00PM in Memory's Garden Memorial Park Albany, NY. Please sign the guest book at delaneygreabelladydanfh.com.

I worked with Roy in 1981-2, He was my boss and a very nice respectful person. Roy had tremendous knowledge of the foodservice industry and management. Even though Roy moved from New York to California, his heart was always won over with New York.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and Eric who I also knew through Roy.
