George Lopez Obituary

LOPEZ, George S. SR , 80, died November 9, 2005. Survived by his children, Georgene Francis, Maria Magdalena Lopez, Jacqueline (Tom) Floerchinger, Rose Ann (Brett) Douglas, Sotero Santiago Lopez, Francis Lopez (Michael Lewis), Nelda Darlene (Robert) Mondragon, George Dean Lopez Jr., Yolanda Ann, (John Ryan) Lopez. Preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Magdalena Ybarra Lopez; son, Frederick George Lopez; and daughter, Ida Ann Lopez. Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; step-children, Alejandro Gutierrez and Jacob Sanchez, and ex-wife, Juanita Sanchez. Mr. Lopez was a lifetime resident of Arizona, in Tucson since 1987, also served in the U.S. Army with honorable discharge followed by services with the Arizona National Guard with an honorable discharge. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2005 at EAST LAWN PALMS CHAPEL , 5801 E. Grant Rd. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2005 at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 3201 E. Presidio Rd.
