Jean ALNESS Obituary

ALNESS, Jean Marie age 65. Born January 8, 1951 to Burnham "Bing" and Lorraine Loveland in Luverne, M.N. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lon and brother, David Loveland. She is survived by her sons, Andrew and Edward; brothers, Wayne and Robert Loveland and sister, Jane Doyle. A graduate of Canton S.D. High School and Maryville University, Jean worked professionally as an interior designer for both John Wanamaker's Store in Philadelphia, P.A., as well as independently. Jean lived most of her life in Southern New Jersey where she enjoyed gathering with friends, attending performances at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, and swimming as often as the weather allowed. Upon retirement Jean and Lon settled in Oracle, AZ, where they enjoyed a vibrant community of wonderfully thoughtful and loving friends. They were the life of the party and enjoyed their time in Arizona immensely. Jean would also rarely miss Trivia Nights on Wednesdays. She will be missed by many friends and her family. Service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Catalina Roman Catholic Parish in Tucson, A.Z. Following the service she will be laid to rest at the Marana Mortuary Cemetery in nearby Marana, AZ. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggest making a donation in Jean's memory to the Starlight Children's Foundation at https://www.starlight.org/giveagown/ For Information call VISTOSO FUNERAL HOME, 520-544-2285.

Our sympathy to Jene's Family. Her parents and Burdell & Alma Rowe were best friends in Luverne. I haven't seen the Family since we helped them move to Canton, SD. We'll pray for Her and Her Family.
