Jonathan Vega, born March 7, 1965, passed away suddenly on February 8, 2013. He is survived by his wife Kelly King; parents Luis and Nohemi Vega; Brother Shadrach Vega; two sisters, Loarina Vega and his beloved sister Raquel Baptiste; his five children Maria, Amanda, Jon, Jr., Ashley, and Luis; and two grandchildren. Jon was a very hard worker, applying precision and detail to every task he was a true artist. He loved to draw and paint as well as a skilled mechanic and upholsterer. Jon's greatest loves were family, friends and the outdoors preferably together. He loved to fish, the beaches, roller coasters and reservoirs. He will be missed. RIP Jonathan Vega.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown. Burial will be at a later date in Farm Hill Cemetery. IT'S finally sinking in that my Brother is gone as I bought flowers & got pics together...This wasn't how it was supposed to be..We were supposed to grow old togetherLaughing & Enjoying life My Brother taught me so Much in my life but what i'll remember the most was the smile he always wore..&..how he never judged anyone...Actions to live by Love u always my Brother & true friend Jon Vega I will miss u so much even through u drove me crazy..XXOO Wish I could yell at u some more So sad right know :-(

Dear John,
Words can not express how much I will miss you. How much I will miss you and my father being FRICK and FRACK and being YING and YANG. You were my father's best friend, cousin, brother pretty much everything.
I know that at times we all fought with you and argued but it was really because we cared.
I can still hear your laugh and see your smile after I gave you that eggroll the last time I saw you. It didn't take a lot to make you happy, simple things always did it and you were alway appreciative.
You loved my cats and treated them very well when you stayed with us every once in a while. You pet them gave them attention and loved them even that horrible bird that my mother has that would bite you, you would still show her love.
You were a good man John and had the biggest heart for such a small person that I have ever encountered.
I will miss seeing you driving around in my dad's truck wondering what you two were going to get into next :-).
You always had a smile on your face no matter what was happening in your life.
John Vega, I will never forget our Lake Compounce trips when we were younger and watching you have just as much fun as the kids did.
John Vega, I love you and you will be missed I promise you that but you will live in our hearts and minds forever.
